In evidencing certain elements of the Local Plan Strategy, we have referred to some of the sub-regional and regional technical evidence. This include work produced originally in support of the (now revoked) Regional Spatial Strategy ( RSS ) and the Integrated Regional Strategy. This is particularly the case in relation to housing targets and renewable energy targets. This evidence remains valid - despite the revocation of the RSS - in supporting the Council's approach as set out in the Local Plan Strategy. Further sub-regional working has or is taking place and this page will be updated on a regular basis.
